Ann-Marie the marathoner has recently become Ann-Marie the triathlete (somewhat to my chagrin*). A couple of weeks ago Gabriella convinced her to do the Wasa Lake triathlon just north of beautiful (in a post apocalyptic sort of way) Cranbrook.
So last week we spent three or so nights having a picnic out at Williamson's Lake while mom swam laps of the lake, getting used to
sharing the pool.
Then on Sunday she rocked it out at Wasa and came in 2nd in her category and was the fifth woman overall! Pretty amazing, especially considering she just produced a baby eight weeks ago!

*if she gets an 'Ironman' tattoo, suggest we get a personalized license plate like 'triathlmom' or or 'triharder' or wants to buy a Subaru Impreza we might have to go to marriage counseling.
