Summer's here!

And it makes everyone smile

We went on a picnic down on the flats this afternoon in the sun

The ever patient Bear....

A Poem From Nana

Spring Poem for Coen and Tobin

Coen and Tobin are two little boys,
Who are owners of many wonderful toys,
Trikes and wagons, skiis and sleds,
Hidden in cupboards and under their beds,
Out in the carport there are even more
There’s hardly room anywhere on the floor!

But the best of the lot cost nothing at all,
Better than cars or even a ball.
What that be you wonder yourself
That can’t be bought right off the store shelf?

It’s sunshine and rain and wonderful puddles,
Sticks, stones and twigs all in a muddle
For creating mud pies and big gooey messes,
To rub on their clothes and into their tresses.
People keep buying them wonderful toys
But seem to forget they are just little boys
Who, like their parents, enjoy the simplest thing
Just being outdoors now that it’s Spring!

Loads of love and hugs....
