Patio Boats

There is little else in the world that Tobin and Nick love more than patio boats.  Here Tobin gives us a tour of his latest patio boat.  Meanwhile, Nick is talking to Ann-Marie on the phone.

Trug or Trating

The Halloween tide came and went, leaving about 50lbs of candy washed up on the counter.  I've been trying to moderate the kids intake, but I really should be trying to moderate my own intake...

Tobin is a turtle and Nick is a dragon.

Nick's costume was a little cumbersome for him.  He couldn't see very well with the dragon's overhanging snout, plus he had big dragon feet and hands on, limiting his dexterity.  Consequently he would be a bit behind on getting to the door.  Inevitably Tobin would get to the door first, knock and politely say: "Trick or treat".

Nick would be about 10 seconds behind, stagger up the steps on his hands and knees, ending up on the wrong side of the screen door.  He'd then have to navigate back around the screen door at the top of the steps to the correct side.  Eventually he would get to the door, and if it hadn't been opened yet he would pound on it with his fist and yell " TRUG OR TRATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
