3:19 in Boston!!

Just back from the finish line where Ann-Marie ran a 3:19!! It was quite a sight and we actually managed to see her at the halfway point even though there were thousands of people filing by. Like watching Caribou migrate to their breeding grounds (except caribou don't usually wear Wonder Woman outfits or dress up like the Easter Bunny). Didn't get many pictures again, as I was mostly herding Tobin around a field and running back to look for Ann-Marie.

It's quite an accomplishment running this marathon, especially with such a good time. Apparently it's the most difficult course in the US. Now it's time to relax as this follows a really hard and dedicated winter of training in Revelstoke, snow, sleet, ice, rain... Not to mention a torn ACL (finally diagnosed two weeks ago).

Let's see 12859, 12860, 12861, 12862... Oh here it is 12863.

Uncle Bevil and Tobin

Alex (podcast interview at bottom) and Bevil

Ain't never been on a subway before....

This picture doesn't really do it justice, but there were a lot of people. Like 25,000.

Tobin and the ever present "Maggie"

Ann-Marie re-hydrating

First women runners - closest race in Boston history 2 seconds separated winner from second place

First men: these guys were rocking out, lousy video but you get the idea of how freaking fast they were going!! The winner takes home $150k, so they have incentive. The guy who won it ran a 4:52 mile up the Newton hills, 18 miles into the race!!!! Good story here.

Ann-Marie taking a time out to hug Bevil at the halfway point.

Tobin scraping the barrel...mmmmm, peanut butter.

Very inspiring. Congrats - this is winter training to a new level. Being addicted to #s I couldn't help but notice that AMG came 4th in BC of all women in the open category, and 26th in Canada - that is so cool.
